My Crypto trading journy #1 - Learning/testing the fields

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago

Hello Steemers! It took a while for my first update since i made my introduction post because it took some time for my bitcoin to arrive with my mentor. And of course the big Crash happened and because i am new at this stuff i decided to wit it out and learn from it buy some stuff at a low price.

The Learning process/preparation before going serious!

In the meantime i have been learning alot about the crypto world. There is so much to learn it feels overwhelming at this moment but we are getting there.

A lot of short trades i did not do yet but i did put some funds into ETH and Digibyte as long term investments. 3 failed day trades where i lost the minimum not knowing what i was doing yet but let's call that learning money and i also got 2 successful trades where i was able to gain a small %.

All does not really matter in my opinion because it is all about learning now and how to get good in it so i am not going to bother you guys to much with statistics and trades yet that is for future posts.

 First mentor session on skype

I did get my first lesson with my mentor where we mainly talked about the mental aspect of trading and day trading cryptos. Do not trade when you have a bad day in your personal life because that will affect you, be patient, The emotions you feel like overconfidence after a successful day or non at all after some failed trades will affect you. All of these mental aspect are basicly the same as in poker so i did not learn to much yet but it's always good to get reminded on how important the mental aspect is in careers like this. I have seen in poker so many talented players with the worst mentality and at some point they get stuck and they never advance to their full potential. Same goes for work ethic (that is where i missed the ball in poker. Luckily i ran pretty good for some years :D) .

The plan for the upcoming days

I will start trading more actively the upcoming goals as main goal just to learn out of it and hopefully get some good profits. And friday i have my next mentor session looking forward to that. Crypto bankroll/portfolio Even tho the crash happened and bitcoin lost a lot of its value i was still able to get from $26 959,36 to $29 676,13 . I think that is a nice profit considering i am just starting out and trying to get a hang of everything. Here you can see my portfolio:
