About 4 months ago, I made a post with a fictional protfolio to track the performance of the available coins that involve Sports Betting. The idea was to make a weekly update post with the latest news but things were developing at a very slow pace so I stopped as it also took up way too much time.
Now 4 months later it's interesting to have a look back and see the how the prices evolved on these coins. 5 coins were tracked and fictionally bough for 1000$ each along with buying 5000$ worth of Bitcoin as a reference. These are the results...

Overall the portfolio has stayed on par with Bitcoin thanks to Wagerr who are set to release their main net on January 15th and allow for masternodes to be run. Peerplays which will be used to run bookie.exchange also outperformed Bitcoin while the "Prediction markets" all underperformed.

Clearly you're big into sport betting etc...I've always wanted to invest in a sport betting related coin. Is there one you would specifically recommend?
I'm looking at things from the perspective to actually use it as a sports bettor.
Wagerr | Bookie.Exchange (peerplays network) | Blitzpredict are the ones for me.

I don't mean to be rude, but you could pick any scam coin out there and the results would still be awsome lol.
Having said that, blockchain gambling related coins are a very interesting trading idea for 2018 onwards. definitly got my eye on them, and the short supplys they show, should make for a very good profit.
It's not really about the results, I'm more about showing how they do relative to eachother and compared to bitcoin. In that Regard the pure Sports Betting project really stands out and the 'prediction markets' haven't really been that attractive.
