Securix - Crypto-Mining with Renewable Energy
I have been a fan of socially responsible projects that use renewable energy to operate their businesses and this is what interested me about Securix. They are planning on using green energy to reduce their businesses carbon footprint. Crypto mining is one of the most energy consuming activities in the world and a lot of miners do not use sustainable energy sources to power their rigs/farms.
I recently read an article from November 2017 that stated bitcoin mining uses up 29.05TWh annually, this is the equivalent of 0.13% of the worlds total consumption. If bitcoin mining was ranked as a country in terms of using electricity it would be ranked 61st, this is higher than Ireland and most countries In Africa. An astonishing stat taken from November 2017 and if we look at how mining and crypto have grown over the last 11 months it has probably moved up even more places in the rankings. The Securix team have developed their own EAN 2 EAN decentralized energy platform that they will use to purchase renewable energy directly from green generators without the need to go through a middleman or a third party. This means they will get their sustainable power straight from the grid and this makes it safe and secure for their mining farm. It is also one of the cheapest ways for Securix to acquire electricity as they will be purchasing all excess produced energy at a very competitive price.
Another way that Securix is saving energy is by using heat generated from their mining equipment to warm up their offices. This is a very unique idea and it will save Securix spending money on central heating and it also ensures that the heat from the miners is not wasted and it serves an important purpose.
In this day and age it's nice to see companies finally start to think about their business models and whether they are socially responsible and sustainable, this is why I have a lot of respect for the team at Securix. Bitcoin/Crypto mining is a problem that a lot of people talk about and it is very relevant in today's news. Securix can take advantage of this and use their green energy mining model as a way to appeal to investors whilst solving a very topical issue.
A lot of contract cloud crypto mining companies have had to close down in recent months, this means there are a lot of people out there that need a new solution and Securix will be there to hopefully pick up some of these investors. Investors will get a share of 45% of Securix's gross revenue every month. They will mine bitcoin and bitcoin cash and it will be converted to Ethereum so that it can be distributed to investors via smart contracts.

I really hope this project turns out as well as it sounds, i've been hoping to see a project with real take on how to make a profitable mining opportunity for people with out the shadyness
They’re trying to be transparent with token holders while giving out passive income monthly. Mining profit is coming back with this one.
Yeah, income paid will be in ETH 45%. Not bad. I am really happy to say that i am investor here.
The fact that it's gross is so different from what we've seen before, i mean for the vast majority of projects it's ALWAYS NET, but in this case we're talking about before expenses thats a really great thing for investors
Yeah. 45% gross revenue given monthly to holders seems to be a fair bargain.
It is nice to finally see a mining project with the society at heart, mining has been known to use non renewable energy that is dangerous to human lives and this approach is relieving.
yeah, they are creating an evironmental friendly project
their Plan to cut cost on electricity is really amazing plus the thing with green energy also got my eye!
but with increasing mining difficulty keeping it profitable is gonna be a tough option! i believe they have plan for that as well!
The difficulty is a concern but also the founder has had mining experience before I think they did a small farm before starting this.
There is a good years of experience collectively amongst the team members according to information provided on whitepaper.
The contract with the EAN 2 EAN electricity provider is basis for the project. Seurix has eliminated one variable of costs- Therefore they can mine profitable and every investor will a nice monthly income.
It’s always good to have a fixed bill. They got that part right. A deal with a power provider is best, that’s what you get with an experienced team. Good job team Securix.
true! getting Electricity from Vendors costs alot of money adding extra charges! so if they manage to get electricity from source it'll be the best option available making it more and more profitable!
Love the fact that they are using renewable energy to provide alternative source of power as the industry has been known to consume a lot of power
Yeah, using renewable energy gives them an edge over others.
Ikr, another thing about this is, not only is it societal friendly, it is a cheaper alternative to non renewable energy commonly used in the industy
Lot of money will save if they are using renewal energy for mining. Because we know mining firms are taking lot of the electricity.
What did you mean when you said they've developed their own EAN-EAN platform. Is it a software they developed or contracts?
I think it has to do with a decentralized renewable green energy platform that will act as an alternative source of power for the brand
Okay. That will be of great help to them. Combining this with the cheap energy they get from the grid.
From one of their video, it has to do with a channel for decentralized energy purchase if my memory serves me right.
i think EAN-EAN means their own energy platform i guess
I haven't seen this used anywhere before, I think it's theirs cos I searched on Google and couldn't find anything related to that
I think it is theirs, unless they come out clear on that
