Is this going to change Venezuela into a Crypto Super Power ?

" I order the payment of consular services in all embassies and consulates of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the world, [and] all consular services in the country, in the petro currency or in any cryptocurrency. " - President Nicolas Maduro.

With News breaking of Venezuela's new orders of crypto acceptance and also the launch of another cryptocurrency backed by gold, Venezuela seems to be looking towards a new future hopefully one that can see betterment for all the people that are currently suffering and lacking basic needs.

President Maduro seems to be putting things in place for a full crypto nation as the National Association of Airlines will be able to pay in petro or any other cryptocurrency for the fuel and the services associated to the airlines operating in Venezuela. 

Also there are plans to make it possible for crypto to be used for tourist services such as hotels, inns which can be the start of a new infusion of capital into the Venezuelan Economy and breathe new life into the country that is currently feeling the effects of financial mismanagement of the highest order.

With Petro to be accepted at Border Gas Stations and most Major State Owned Companies, Venezuela seems to be positioning itself for the digital rocket ship to blast off in its favor. Three State companies have been mentioned thus far to fully use the Petro, they are Petroleos de Venezuela(Pdvsa) an oil and gas company, Pequiven its petrochemical subsidiary and the conglomerate Venezuelan Guyana Corporation(CVG).

This could mean great things for the Venezuelan Economic situation even though they may be in violation of the US Sanctions with this move. 

But this sounds a little to smooth its Venezuela wheres the opposition to this move where are the as the young folks say.. Haters lol. 

Venezuela has a bad reputation internationally for misappropriation of assets and they have never really been on the receiving end of good international press coverage but that is not even the deep end of the pool as yet.

The Venezuelan National Assembly has already declared petro illegal. 

So I guess Petro's strength is determined by if President Maduro can stay in office or if it does create an economic boom and all the naysayers are now forced to side with Crypto.
