Yahoo! Is Launching A Crypto Exchange | 24th of March 2018 (DCN #18)
Today is the 24th of March and, again, a lot of exciting news and events are taking place in the cryptocurrency-world. And as always, I'm going to cover the most important stuff that's going on.

1- Yahoo Is Launching A Crypto Exchange
According to Nikkei Asian Review's reports, the Japanese part of the internet giant Yahoo! will open a cryptocurrency exchange in 2019.
In the reports they've said that Yahoo! Japan will buy 40% of a Japanese crypto exchange BitARG next month. Then a year later, Yahoo! Japan is planning on launching a full-blown exchange! The exchange would be newly built but based on BitARG's system.

2- Wall Street Regulator to Examine Cryptocurrency Hedge Funds
Regulations here, regulations there... Now it’s cryptocurrency hedge funds’ turn in the regulatory spotlight.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will examine dozens of cryptocurrency hedge funds, which are known for their risky trading strategies and higher fees versus traditional investment funds. Regulators want to make sure as many as 100 crypto hedge funds are delivering what they promise to investors.

3- IRS Reminds US Taxpayers to Report Crypto Earnings
The US taxpayers have been reminded by The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to include any cryptocurrency income on their annual tax forms.
The IRS noted that cryptocurrency transactions are taxable like other forms of property.
"Taxpayers who do not properly report the income tax consequences of virtual currency transactions can be audited for those transactions and, when appropriate, can be liable for penalties and interest."
According to the warning, tax evasion is listed as one possible criminal charge, and if convicted, a user could be jailed for up to five years and face a $250,000 fine.

4- Toronto Stock Exchange Launching A Crypto Brokerage Platform
TMX — best known as the operator of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) has announced that it will launch a cryptocurrency brokerage platform.
The plans were unveiled on Thursday, stating that the platform would likely launch by mid-year and would allow clients to buy and sell Bitcoin and Ether.

Nem is hosting an event called 'NEM 101' on March 25 "somewhere at a hotel, Port Saeed, Deira, Opposite Deira City Centre, Dubai".

A lot of really exciting news! Yahoo! launching a crypto exchange? TMX launching a crypto brokerage platform? Interesting stuff... It'll definitely be interesting to see where these projects are going to go!
Apart from the exciting news, the day has started really well for the crypto world. The markets are green! BTC's price bounced back over 6% during a one-hour period! Other major gainers are Tron (TRX), Storm (STORM), and Verge (XVG).
The real question here is; Is this a dead-cat bounce, or is this the beginning of the next bull run?
