Top 12 Sports Treasures Auctioned for Cryptocurrency by Superstars

Celebrity stars especially in the field of sports have recently been profoundly involved in the blockchain and the cryptocurrencies in general. And when an element of support to foundations and charities is embedded in the blockchain, the better for beneficiaries.

The 2018 signed world cup jersey was auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the FC HERZOGENAURACH Youth Development. A total of 5 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.062 Ethereum (ETH) equivalent to US$ 63

2. Original football jersey by Valeri Georgievich Karpin

The original football jersey was auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the Narva United FC. A total of 4 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.1087 ETH equivalent to US$ 110

3. A tennis racket and t-shirt by Cédric Pioline

The tennis racket and t-shirt were auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the Fête le Mur L’Association. A total of 18 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.26 Ethereum (ETH) equivalent to US$ 178.

4. Signed tennis t-shirt by Martina Hingis 

The signed tennis t-shirt was auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the RIGHTTOPLAY Play and Learn Association. A total of 3 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.81 ETH equivalent to US$ 987

5. Medal winning Fischer skis by Tarjei Bø

The medal winning Fischer was auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the RIGHTTOPLAY Play and Learn Association. A total of 2 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.301 ETH equivalent to US$ 304

6. A set of tennis accessories and an autographed racket by Robin Bo Carl Söderling

The autographed racket and tennis accessories were auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the Robin Söderling foundation. A total of 15 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.255 ETH equivalent to US$ 174.

7. A signed hockey stick by Sergei Viktorovich Fedorov

The signed hockey stick was auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the Social Justice Development Fund. A total of 9 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.102ETH equivalent to US$ 85

The tennis racket, tennis ball and Anastasia`s signed photo were auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the Downside Up Foundation that helps children with Down Syndrome. A total of 4 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.37 ETH equivalent to US$ 451

11. A signed Tampa Bay lightning jersey by Nikita Igorevich Kucherov

The signed Tampa Bay lightning jersey was auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the Charity Fund of Support to Children and Youth Sports Development “OLYMP”. A total of 10 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.15 ETH equivalent to US$ 160

The tennis racket and signed t-shirt were auctioned by receipt of bids in support of the LAUREUS Sport for Good Foundation. A total of 2 bids were received and the winning bid was accepted for 0.325 ETH equivalent to US$ 358
