Is this a coordinated takedown of the cryptocurrency space?
I have been expecting to see days like this for some time now. It is reminiscent of what we often see in the precious metals space. The entities which control worlwide western commerce (Fed, banks, European central band, etc) are fighting to remian in control of currency. They know that the vast majority are suspicious of the reality of cryptocurrencies right now and have heard the stories that it will likely fall from its "silly internet based" rise in value. So, they orchestrate these types of attacks to further entrench those fears into those who were on the verge of considering adoption of the new technology and even striking fear into those that just very recently got involved. Their hope is that they will have suffered a large loss in a short period of time and leave the space and not return until the inevitability of its adoption is obvious to all.
Many of you are asking, how would this manipulation occur since cryptocurrencies are distributed so widely and without the input from cental sources. Well, the answer to that is twofold. First, they have had plenty of time now to arrange the accumulation of a large amount of the various cryptocurrencies to have the ability to move the price over a short period of time. And, mark my words, they will continue to try to game the system. Secondly, they have now intorduced cryptocurrencies themselves, like Ripple, which trade in exchanges with other non-centralized cryptocurrencies. This is a second way that they are able to develop a stockpile. So, don't buy those bank backed crypto's if you want to further the movement away from centralized control. You may be able to turn a profit in the short run, but you are hurting the crypo space.
Finally, as in the gold and silver space, when great things go on sale, BUY! Do not let days like this discourage you. It is those that have the courage to stand in the face of adversity and make the hard decisions in investing who are later more richly rewarded. Just thank those that are fighting our movement for the opportunity to get more of what you want for a better price.
Corrections are healthy. Nothing to fear here.
Yup it's time to buy! I doubt we'll see BTC continue to drop.
You are wise. Get as much as you can, these cryptocurrencies will go parabolic in the not so distant future.
Good post Gilbert, question everything..The elite controllers are 10 moves ahead of what we perceive yo be true out there..
I've also read some stuff on the banks position on crypto, & anyone that thinks they are sitting around twittering their thumbs with the crypto is gaining strength should roll over & go back to sleep..
What I've been concerned with of late, is sidechain software technology & what it may do to the root blockchain software.. Of what I read about it so far, I have some concern on it's security & hackability..
I definitely share your concerns. No way they are just going to sit back and let this happen without a fight. What is your opinion on the best approach to investing with regard to protecting your investment in the cryptocurrencies?
What I keep hearing from the top players, is to diversify by buying Gold & or Silver bullion & while also investing in several different cryptocurrencies..Some will crash & some will make heavy gains to offset the losses..
Some other so called experts contend that we should buy & hold it for several years as a long or semi long investment..I think by the 2020 we may see it start to level out in value for reasons I cannot get into on this forum..
If you decide to invest in Gold or Silver, I highly recommend to buy it as bullion..Research what I am saying & you will come to your on conclusions.. Hope this helps & Good Luck Gilbert.....
I totally agree and have been investing in silver bullion for many years now. It and the crypto's will go hyperbolic at some point.
We are in good company..
Are you using a hard wallet, if so which one..
I still haven't found a web site to buy through yet..
And yes I know, I better start soon..
You need to jump in ASAP. Interestingly, I just wrote an article about how to do this

Any solid evidence of banker conspiracy today or is this just paranoid conjecture.
Any solid evidence that it is not? Are you a banker? Just curious. Either you are likely involved, or you don't get it yet. Sorry for the frankness. When you have been investing as long and as successfully as I have, the footprint is obvious to you. Do you really believe that virtually every investor, in every decentralized coin especially, decided to sell aggressively today? If you do, then I can't help you.
So, paranoid conjecture it is then...lol. The stock market has had numerous crashes over the years, with most or all stocks going down in one day. This isn't a conspiracy either. We're just spoiled because the crypto market has been going up so much. A correction must be a conspiracy? Give me a break. It may be or it may not be but you need more compelling evidence than "I can see the footprint".
If you notice, I put a question in the title. I am certain it is, but "ignorance is bliss" and you are welcome to live your life in that manner. I on the other hand, and those who understand how this world works and how the current system is thoroughly manipulated will just back up the truck and buy at all these great opportunities that are provided for us by the manipulators. In the end, they will definitely lose this battle because they don't own the printing press, which their lives depend upon, to these decentralized coins.
Curios how the bank backed cryptos are the least affected. Except for ether and that's because Microsoft and other powerful entities are in the process of acquiring as much as they can.
XRP is down a lot since yesterday so I'm not sure what banker cryptos you are referring to that aren't being impacted. Look, I am all for buying on the down swings. I will be picking up some things on the cheap as well. I don't fear the downturns. All I asked was if you have any solid evidence of conspiracy. And you just don't. No need to get all angry about it.
You were the one that attacked my post that began with a question. I just get frustrated with people who don't understand to what lengths those in power will go to ratain that power and have far less experience and knowledge about it than I do. I have been watching it for decades now. When you have been doing this as long as I have and have heard and seen the things that I have, things are clearer. One day you will understand how blinded you were during this period in time if you actually believe that there is no manipulation going on today.
I didn't say what I believe because I don't have any evidence either way. And I didn't attack your post I just asked if you had any solid evidence to support it. Doesn't mean you can't post the article or that I disagree with it. Just wanted to be clear if there was anything other than paranoid conjecture to support it. I'd like to see that evidence. That's all, I'm done here. Best of luck to you with your investments!
Thank you. But I don't need luck. I have been a VERY successful investor for nearly 30 years now, FAR outpacing the DOW every one of those years except for three. I wish YOU luck. And I don't see how you don't consider calling my post "paranoid conjecture.. lol," and "give me a break," not attacking my post.
