Crypto fund ICOs for long-term investments

Note: I have invested most of my money into Astro and Crypto20 at the moment. I think Covesting is also an excellent project but invested less here (might invest more in the token sale). I plan to invest into Swiss Borg in November as a way to diversify my investments further. Please upvote if you like this post and use of any referral codes is appreciated. Please do your research, join the telegram channel and see the quality of discussion, ask questions and then finally invest when you believe in the project.

1. Astro - Token sale ends in 1 day, 10% bonus available

You can read my more detailed post about this ICO here: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@deepakagarwal/astro-ico-should-you-invest

To summarize, Astronaut is quite similar to a mutual fund, they will allow retail / institutional investors to participate in cryptocurrency (mainly ICO) investments through a single token with a quarterly dividend mechanism. They have raised ~USD 3 MN so far and the fund will be active already at the end of token sale. I like that they have a very active telegram channel (much better than most of the ICOs where the discussions tends to be around token credits and how to fund) and I see that largely the community intends to hold the tokens for the long-term.

Their CEO, Matthew, is actively involved here to answer any questions and that puts a lot of faith in this fund. So in a nutshell, if you do not want to pursue 100's of ICOs all the time, make an investment here and let them do the hard work of finding the right investments and growing your money. They will soon release a desktop and app interface so that you can track your investments in real-time! You can already check out a beta version on their website.

2. CRYPTO20 - On-going token sale

This is a hybrid market-cap weighted index fund of the top 20 cryptos with each asset capped at a maximum of 10% to reduce any asset dominance. Rebalancing is done on a weekly basis. 98% of the funds raised will be used for purchase of underlying assets with 1.5% for their marketing pre-exchange listing and 0.5% for legal fees and audit. With such an offering, you can easily have a stake in the top cryptos with very little risk as I see it.

Similar to Astro, this is a closed-cap fund so no new tokens will be created after the ICO and I don't think people will choose to sell at a loss. These funds tend to attract investors that have a mid to long-term outlook.

They raised $5 MN in the pre-sale from ~2000 backers. The current round of ICO ends on Nov 30th.

3. COVESTING - On-going pre-ICO sale, ICO to begin on Nov 24th

Ok, not exactly a crypto investment fund but still a very attractive ICO that allows you to mirror the trades of successful asset managers automatically on a secure platform. Let's be honest, most of us are not expert traders who understand fundamental and technical analysis and spend a ton of time analyzing cryptos.

On this platform, you can subscribe to any investor and covesting will replicate their trading model for you to benefit. The model manager benefits from success fees from profitable trading and you get your profits from expert trading. Sounds fun, check out their platform and white paper as I will not go into the details here.

We will have more clarity in November when they release a prototype version in November. I will look into investing more at that stage.

4. SwissBorg Cryptallion - Token sale begins on Nov 21st

This is a multi-strategy diversified fund that will combine ICOs, lending, trend following, etc. in 1 token as opposed to Astro or Crypto20 which are single-strategy funds. I will probably do a more detailed post closer to the ICO time-line but you can keep this under the radar at the moment.

I see the above funds as long-term investments that are intended to hold for the long-term for benefiting from the growth in the underlying assets. The risk will be from the quality of ICOs picked for investments or from the underlying cryptocurrency assets but since these risks will be managed by professionals, I do not use a big downside. Let me know your thoughts!

Happy investing!

Hello & Cheers!! I'm a content detection and information bot. You are receiving this reply because a short link or links have been detected in your post/comment. The purpose of this message is to inform your readers and yourself about the use of and dangers of short links.

To the readers of the post: Short links are provided by url shortening services. The short links they provide can be useful in some cases. Generally their use is benign. But as with all useful tools there are dangers. Short links can be used to hide all sorts of things. Quite frequently they are used to hide referral links for instance. While not dangerous this can be deceptive. They can also be used to hide dangerous links such as links to phishing sites, sites loaded with malware, scam sites, etc. You should always be extremely cautious before clicking on one. If you don't know and trust the poster don't click. Even if you do you should still be cautious and wary of any site you are sent to. It's always better to visit the site directly and not through a short link.

To the author of the post: While short links may be useful on some sites they are not needed on steemit. You can use markdown to format your links such as this link to steemit. It's as simple as [steemit](https://steemit.com) Unlike short links this allows the reader to see where they are going by simply hovering over the link before they click on it.

This message was created by a bot. It is part of the ongoing fight against spam and phishing attacks on steemit. If you did not use short links in your post and feel you have received this message in error you can contact @fubar-bdhr on discord or @fubar.bdhr on steemit chat to report the issue.
