[HODL] EOS

REASON 2 HODL:
- SMART CONTRACTS
Like Ethereum you are able to use the Blockchain to implement decentralized applications using smart contracts but unlike Ethereum, EOS is designed to run DApps without charging the developer for every transaction the application makes.
(A developer needs to have EOS coins to use the EOS blockchain, EOS coins is a claim on server resources.)
- SCALABLE
EOS has planned to support thousands of commercial scalable DApps with that the blockchain will be able to be scalable to make sure that even tho the price of EOS has gone up or down developers will be able to run their DApps.
- PROCESS POWER
Latency is the time it takes for one account to send an Action to another account and then receive a response. A good user experience requires delay of no more than a few seconds. The platform will operate at low Latency to avoid delays and be competitive with existing non-blockchain alternatives.
The parallel performance can help with large scale applications with the workload and will be divided between multiple CPUs and computers to provide a high performing application.
- PoS
Delegated Proof of Stake a robust consensus algorithm, a very secure way of verifying blocks and nodes on the blockchain.
(More info @ DPOS Consensus Algorithm.)
Transaction as Proof of Stake is a simple way of verifying transactions they require the recent block header hash and it will make sure replay transaction don't happen, as well username with their stake on a specific fork. Eventually all user will be confirming the blockchain to make it difficult to counterfeit chains.
- RECOVERY
Unlike a lot of cryptocurrencies when you lose your keys that's it for that account you have no way of recovery the keys, but with EOS recovery will determine on identification and multi-factor authentication (phone and email).
