If you're new to Crypto there's one site you need to know coinmarketcap.com

It's a one stop shop for pretty much all your crypto info, if you like doing the analysis yourself that is.

Some of the info available to you in CMC is the total Market Cap of all Coins and Tokens combined, their ranking, the 24 hour volume, circulating supply and my favourite, bitcoin dominance.

By clicking on a coins hyperlink you'll also be able to get more in-depth info on that particular coin including it's individual market cap, a more detailed chart and some super handy info like which markets it's available on, 30 day historical data and even verified links to each a tokens website and other useful links.

I absolutely love CMC and admittedly check at least twice a day.. Okay maybe more like ten times per day, but I like to be on the pulse and its a great way for me to be so. One of my favourite uses for coin market cap is using individual market caps to assess risk. The lower the market cap the higher the risk in my opinion so it's a handy site to use to get to know a whole lot of projects individually, assess their risk and potentially use to build a risk diverse portfolio, but I'll cover that in another post.
