Is it good to invest in Ethereum in 2018?

Bitcoin is surely taking the currency market by storm but Ethereum is not that far as well. I've heard and seen so much about the crypto currencies. The way Bitcoin came on top and was so much useful to its owners surely grabbed my attention. So, i studied about other currencies and really believe that Ethereum can be the next big deal. I've done some research about them and know some about them. But i really need some guidelines regarding them by some seniors who are familiar about the idea. I am looking forward to invest in Ethereum but really need some information about it. I just wanna be sure on what i am investing in. So could really use some wise information from our steemit members who are familiar with ethereum. Really looking forward to the discussion of this topic?
