Stellar lumens giveaway, DON'T MISS!!
On june 27th, exactly a week from today, Stellar will be giving out 16,000,000,000 XLM to Bitcoin holders. If you are a cryptocurrency investor, you won't want to miss this chance.
What's the deal?
On June 26th, Stellar.org will take a snapshot at the blockchain, to verify the balances of all existing bitcoin wallets, and the total circulating supply of BTC.
For every BTC that you hold, you will be able to claim something like 987 XLM.
Taking today's price, according to coinmarketcap.com, 1XLM is worth 0.038607$, so that for every BTC you hold, you would get something like 38.11$.
You need to take into account that XLM price is very volatile, and can be different on June 26th than what it is as of today, June 20th.
The exact formula to calculate how many XLM you will get is the following:
16,000,000,000 x (Your BTC / Total supply of BTC) = Amount of XLM you get.
On June 27th, Stellar.org will publish a claim page, where all BTC holders will be able to claim ownership of as many BTC as they hold at that point.
You will have until August 27th to provide a XLM address and claim your share of those 16,000,000,000 than are going to be given away for free!
My suggestion towards this offer is to be smart and take note of this either if you are a current XLM holder or if you are planning to get some free XLM.
By this I mean that 16,000,000,000 XLM will increase the total supply significantly (it's almost 200% from what circulates as of today), so you will see a huge fall in prices, even to 1/3 of the current price.
If you are a bagholder, you might want to start thinking about selling before the big giveaway, to try and buy cheaper once this supply is "dumped".
If you are planning on getting free XLM, don't let the FOMO beat you, and don't sell immediately when you see the initial price fall.
Anyways, make sure to always make your own research to make most out of every investment, and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or doubts.

I guess the question is why you should not participate in the Airdrop. The only thing I do not get about Stellar is the concensus model (SCP) and how that is not centralised.
