I have been trying to make sense of crypto/blockchain for some time. I have a traditional finance background and until I found steemit and have actually seen a new way of doing things because of an innovation allowed by blockchain technology I didn't grasp the possibilities. I think 2018 is going to be an exciting year to be involved in this space.

I am constantly trying to relate the concepts and the implications to real world scenarios and use cases. I think this is useful as it gives perspective but many of the traditional models are useless. Even consider the notion of taking profits. It has suddenly become desirable to buy in to this ecosystem to gain influence and standing. That is actually where I wish to store my value right now. That is the profit I am seeking. It's a lot to get your head around.
