Man, I've been hearing bad things about Poloniex for several days now. I'm not a trader but really am interested in learning to trade. What platform would you recommend for a newbie? Do you think more platforms will crash with this segwit situation lurking?

Another rule with cryptocurrencies is question everything your told, sometimes people give you 'advice' with ulterior motives. My background in crypto's is I own 20% LTC, 60% ANS and 20% cowboy choices. Do your research into what a company is aiming to achieve and if it will be used in the modern world. Once you make up your mind, the best thing to do is to stick with it for atleast a year (up or down)!!!
