LOGIS COIN (LGS) - The World In Your Pocket | CREATED AND SUPPORTED BY THE LIGHTPAYCOIN DEVELOPMENT TEAM | Transforming Logistics Industry

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago

IBM has estimated that the use of blockchain could save the logistics industry approx $38 billion. IBM and Maersk have already carried out a test case using a batch of avocados shipped from Mombasa to Rotterdam. The calculated costs of the shipping container itself is more than $2,000. The cost of associated paperwork comes to $300 i.e; 15% - 20% of total costs. These costs can be reduced to zero by distributed ledger technology. The final savings for the industry are calculated with due regard to the fact that global traffic is about a humongous 70 million containers a year.

From dispute resolution to administrative efficiency and order tracking, blockchain has the answer to the the problems that have been plaguing the transportation industry for decades. Let's explore some of these issues.

There are countless other problems that can be cited here but what if we could have one solution that overcomes it all. What if we could remove the need for intermediaries in the world of logistics? What if transactions could be verified, recorded and coordinated autonomously without third parties? What if we could have a solution that is secure, fast, free, reliable and trusted by everyone regardless of any prejudice.

The solution is right here in front of you.

Logis coin is a proof of stake/masternode coin developed by the same team that developed Lightpay coin - one of the hottest coin of the year 2018. The success of Lightpay coin speaks for itself. And if nothing else, it ensure that Logis Coin is in safe hands.

Logis is all set to revolutionize the way logistics industry works. Right now, this technology is still far from maturity with many challenges to overcome before it can be effectively deployed at scale in the logistics industry. Likely the greatest test will be in accomplishing successful industry adoption through coordinated efforts and even coopetition between various supply chain stakeholders that have legacy processes and varying interests.

But to give you an idea, Logis users and customers will be able to track the entire route of the ordered goods before they fall into their hands. The network behind the shelf of the store will no longer be hidden, which will allow the client to make more informed decisions. This would not only help the users but also increase the trust level on companies with increased transparency for audit protocols. Also, enabling the supply chain companies to detect frauds or prevent where there's little to no oversight.

Coin Specs/Market Performance

I'm a huge fan of Light Pay Coin and Logis. The team behind these coins is excellent, so I'm closely watching both of these projects.

I only found out about these coins because I've been researching masternode coins and because both of these coins are listed on stakecube.net.

I'm currently saving up enough Steem to buy a few seats in one of the shared masternodes on there. :)

I know Lightpay since the presale days.I have worked with them and had a decent holding but unfortunately I sold too early and was left behind. Later, it did very well.

Logis is following the same path so far. Thanks

That's a shame you missed the pump. I still don't own either of them. Logis seems highly valued at the moment which makes me a little cautious of them. I'll keep an eye on them and will probably buy in at a dip.

I think it is in dip right now. Logis came down from 180,000 SAT to 115K.

That is quite a drop. I’ll see what I can grab.

If IBM has done the estimation then for sure this has potential. Most probably this coin would have great success. I will also study and explore to enter in it.

One such research is conducted by HDL make sure to check that out.

I need to do more research on this as I ship goods across seas often. I'm wondering if I have a use case for this.....

The platform is yet to come - For now, it's merely a coin. But do let me know your experiences once you go through. Thanks.

It was a very analytical and organized content which has helped me a lot. I really loved it. This content will obviously enrich the depth of knowledge regarding coin.

Thank you for such kind words.

I see that this currency will revolutionize the transport area in the future

LPC & LGS

I guess the coin has a lot to prove itself.
Its currently @ #841 at coinmarketcap.com.
I remember a similar coin like LogisCoin.
I just couldn't remember the coin now.

Logis is only days old and the fact that it has made it to the coinmarketcap and a few other exchanges is itself an achievement.

Oh, I guess I overlooked it.
I was seeing from 2017 when it started.
I'm getting too old..

Lol no. Logis was only offered to public on 9th of August. So it's only 12 more or less days only. Yet, it's on Cryptobridge, CoinExchange..

Thank you, me too :)

I really liked your post, I voted with pleasure!
Please, support me, too: @mishahapij

Too much informative news it is. The running world is of blockchain world and there is no confusion I think... I think LGS may go up more..Thanks for your kind information.

Thank you for reading.!

@ghayas
The potential from offering a neutral, open digital platform for safe and easy ways of exchanging information is huge, and all players across the supply chain stand to benefit.

It makes the whole process paperless - win win for all contributors.
