With more and more ICOs launching every week, I'm starting a new series to discuss upcoming crypto projects (ICO or not) and the finer details of those projects. The project will be evaluated on four levels - Innovation, Ease of Execution, Adoption, and Riskiness on a scale of 1 to 10 and a final score will be given for each project.

Innovation
Innovation describes how innovative projects are with a look at how many similar projects are in the space. Projects that have novel ways of overcoming particular challenges will score high in this category while projects that are essentially copycats will score low.

Ease of Execution
Ease of Execution refers to how difficult a project will be to pull off on a technical level. Projects with simple, straightforward technical demands will be scored fairly highly. If a project has lots of moving parts that require deep integration into other system, the score will be fairly low.

Adoption
This category is a look at the likely adoption curve of the project once it launches. Is it a viral app like Cryptokitties or will it toil away in relative obscurity, hoping that one day people will finally notice how awesome it is?

Riskiness
Riskiness is a catchall for multiple dimensions of risk - technical, regulatory, and other. Is the project using Parity wallets? (lulz) Will the SEC shut the ICO down before coins are even issued? Is the team made up of scam artists from [insert country here]?

As always, would love to hear suggestions on how to improve this rubric and which projects to review. All comments welcome!

An excellent idea. It is always difficult to assess the success of a project. Who with a rational mind would have thought Krypokities made any sense or had any possibility of success. Nevertheless the criteria you suggest provide a good foundation for providing funding at an early stage of a project, which of course is also the riskiest and hence potentially most profitable moment for investing in a token. I look forward to seeing how things progress with this project.

Here's my first one. It's slightly rushed but I'm still working on the format/formula. All suggestions are welcome!
