Crypto the answer for the pot industry???

With the fed and the weirdo Sessions threatening states and individuals with action, do the alt coins focused on cannabis have a chance to become a large player in the crypto world?

With so many alt coins coming and going and those new to the market, are these coins just another pump and dump, or will they hold some weight in the future of the cannabis industry? The benefits of cryptocurrency are endless, yet all of these companies having their own coins seem a little counter productive for progress. I understand the point and offering discounts for customers using the company coins, but it also cost customers exchange fees, and I am sure that the company is also exchanging back into a more accepted currency.
