Traders filed several official complaints with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the large American exchange Coinbase. According to the documents that were sent to the editorial office of Mashable, clients accuse the trading platform of fraud.

One of the users filed a complaint to the financial regulator as early as January 2018. He said that in December 2017 he sent $ 17 thousand from one account to another, the money never came. The client contacted the platform support service seven times. Each time he was told that they can not help at the moment and asked to apply later.

According to another trader, he lost $ 5 thousand because of an error in the trading floor system. Users believe that Coinbase deliberately delays their funds in order to invest in other projects.

"Coinbase owns my funds, $ 21 thousand, since August 30, 2017. In fact, at that moment they just stole my money. They do not give any chance to contact them by phone and ignore all my attempts to solve this issue, "- says one more client of the exchange.

Since early March, two collective lawsuits have been filed against the trading platform. In one of them, Coinbase was accused of insider trading, in another - in violation of laws on unclaimed property and unfair competition.
