I find it hard to believe that anyone would set up a miner and allow OTHERS to profit from it rather than take the profits themselves. What is more than likely REALLY happening is that THEY are using YOUR computing power to mine real tokens while you think you are playing a game. Then they pay you a portion of what they earn while using YOUR resources.
It doesn't work that way, most of these are just mining "games" and profits are made from ads.
Ah... OK, that makes sense.
It's actually a profitable investment if u look at it this way, company basically invests in a miner that a customer/s would in the future technically pay for (including maintenance fee) while getting a portion from the rewards plus you get to keep the miner. Customer on the other hand benefits from not having to set it up and lower $$ to start investing.
