How To Become A Media Creator & Mine Cryptocurrency Rather Well

Preface

Hello Steemit, as you're probably aware the field of Digital Media has recently become much more relevant than it ever was. More and more people are turning content creation into a successful career, and here is my take on that from a cryptocurrency perspective.

Professional Content Creation

While simple media creation may only take the computing power of a laptop, more complex projects require powerful hardware. This hardware involved in most cases is a powerful CPU, graphics card, and RAM. There are many other factors as well, we won't be covering them all but feel free to ask or correct me in the comments.

In the extremely competitive world of Digital Media, new creators must find a way to stand out. Perhaps the easiest way to achieve that is to harness hardware that basic creators may not have. This is definitely a financial investment, but the returns could be massive.

Freelance artists charge rates that are based on their level of experience & portfolio. If you're new to the field, you could spend roughly three months taking free courses on the internet and be ready to start. There are tons of open-source programs like Blender and GIMP that are just as, if not entirely as functional as expensive programs like the Adobe Suite & various 3d Modeling tools.

How This Ties Into Mining Cryptocurrency

When you purchase or build a computer with heavy media usage in mind, you're almost always lining yourself up well for mining cryptocurrency. Most mining algorithms use your graphics card (GPU) to perform functions, paying you cryptocurrency in exchange. While one might argue that the power consumption of hardware (like GPU's) not fully optimized for mining is roughly equal to the financial payoff, that's why owning the full machine is beneficial. You now are in possession of a machine designed to take advantage of a blossoming field rich with opportunity.

During the work day your computer is available to perform complex graphics tasks that warrants customers to pay you money, and at night you can mine cryptocurrency with your powerful graphics card. From rough calculations, most people should be able to fully pay off their initial investment in around a year. There are also many inherent benefits of mining cryptocurrency vs. purchasing it, but I'll leave that to you to discover for yourself.

Feel free to ask any questions in the comments, have fun!
