CoinDash ICO Hacked
Today the CoinDash ICO was hacked with over 7 Million USD in losses already. From Reddit user hwtu "This is an ICO that didn't publish contract address in advance, but decided to publish it when the crowdsale starts. Somebody hacked their website and listed their own ETH address instead of the crowdsale address. What a fuck up..." Always use Etherscan or Ethplorer to make sure the address has a contract and is connected with the actual organization.
It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't 'hacked' but was a scam all along. I'm only making this assumption from the one paragraph of info you provided though, so I'm probably wrong.
They already had an open beta for anyway (although it was very simple) and a decent whitepaper but they weren't any that special to begin with. I almost did a review on them but like I said they didn't bring anything new to the table.
