Currently I personally feel there is too much redundant for tokens created. Fundition is supporting a lot of charity organisation and @gtpjfoodbank is there and they are supporting it with SBD and STEEM.
And steem blockchain is currently running pretty smoothly there and fundition has their own site that supports the steem blockchain as the first tier.
I think we don't need another token created just for that reason if we can tap on the current at the moment until we know how those tokens function and how they are sustained.

Why make another coin? Steem is not good enough? All the other coin or tokens they sit on the steem blockchain as well.
I am confused. People want to dump steem?
Steem is fine, it seems like special interest groups prefer a token that’s a token of the group (pun intended). Perhaps it makes it easier to track usage and to gage activity. As you say, it still sits on the same blockchain. I’m still learning the nuances of the steem community.
