Short term investment : BTC or BTH for the biggest profit ? Let's have a look together =)

3 days ago I sold my BTC position at around 7200$.
I did that because I saw the potential of growth in BCH before the fork.

BCH seems to be an alternative to BTC. In the community, we all know that there is a little war between the people saying BTC is the real Bitcoin and the others saying BCH is the real Bitcoin because it follows the vision of Satoshi, with low fees transaction and better scalability.

Anyway I'm not going into the technicals details for this post, it will be only for a trading point of view.

BTC is worth 7426,90$ at the time of writing.

BCH is worth 621.07$ at the time of writing.

For the calcul I'm going to round the number at 7430 for BTC and 620 for BCH.

According to different TA from myself and others good analysts ( @cryptopassion or @papou on twitter)
BTC could reach the ATH of 8000$ before the fork
BCH could reach the 800$ before the fork (and way easily than BTC for 8000$ I think)

2 things :

• BTC is still going up on its bullish trend but a correction is expected. We are at the top of Wave 3 of Elliot Waves pattern and wave 4 is coming which is the reversal trend. When we will hit the wave 5, it will be the time for BTC to reach 8000$
• BCH is in its wave 4, so the normal correction expected. When it will get its wave 5, we will see BCH going closer to 800$ or even more

Now, for the potential growth :

• 1 BTC = 7430$
  If you invest right now at this price (which is not the best idea), you will make 7.67% of profit when BTC will reach ATH 8000$
  Let's say the correction is going on and BTC go down to 7000$ and you invest at that time.
  You will make 14.28% of profit when BTC = 8000$

• 1 BCH = 620$
  If you invest now (you could wait a bit and enter 590-600$), you will make 29.03% of profit when BCH will reach 800$.
  Enter at 590$ and you will make 35.60% of profit when BCH = 800$

From now, let's have a look with dollars.

• If you can afford to buy 1 BTC, and you invest at 7000$, you will make 1000$ of profit when BTC reaches 8000$.

• With this same 7000$ (worth 1 BTC), you could buy around 11,5 BCH worth 600$ (round number to make it simple)
  When BCH will reach 800$, you will make 11.5 x 800 = 9200$ hence 2200$ of profit.

We can see that it would be more than the double of profits investing in BCH short term before the fork.

When people will realise that there is no free coins coming with BTC fork Segwit2x and that BCH is definitely more efficient than BTC technology, I think we could see BCH go over 800$.

There is already a lot of volumes coming from China and South Korea.

Do your own research, I just wanted to show you why I sold my BTC to buy BCH for a short term trade.
