How Crypto Changed My Life

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

I have not become rich (yet) by investing in crypto, that is not what this post is about.
This post is about how I changed and how my view upon the world has changed since i began investments in crypto.

Before i entered the "blockchain-reality" my life seemed dull and gloomy. I had no real interests, my education seemed pointless and i felt like i had no goal in life. I am a libertarian by heart and my life in a socialist democracy, that Denmark is, was very frustrating to me.
But then i began reading about the technology behind Bitcoin and i quickly discovered Ethereum and the rest of the cryptomarket.

Helloooo Blockchain!

This really changed my life! The decentralized nature of how the blockchain works is great for a libertarian like me! Finally a technology that will shape the future and is opposing the centralized governments! The best part of it is that our politicians are too slow to react to these things, that it will most likely be too late for them to ban blockchain technologies once they realize how much the social order will change with this coming storm.
And just for the lulz - The Danish politicians made UBER illegal, so don't think they wouldn't want to do the same to such a disruptive technology that blockchain is.

But it was not only the political aspect that made the change in me. The whole point of being a front runner, a pioneer in a technology that will change the world is a fantastic feeling! To know that i am part of LESS than 1% of the worlds population involved in something that (according to Deloitte) will hold 10% of the worlds GDP in 2025 is the best feeling i've ever had.

I'm currently invested in Ethereum, Golem, Steem and Stratis. I really hope these projects will succeed, and if they don't, that it is because some other project steals the spotlight.

What are you guys invested in? what cryptocurrencies do you think will shape the future of our world and how has this technology changed your lives so far? Tell me in the comment section.

Yes, I agree! The best part about getting involved in blockchain is how fun and engaging it is. It's a great way to meet a lot of new people.

It is indeed! There is so much to talk about, so many experiences so share!

Good writing. Is English your second language?
Why did Denmark ban uber? It's also banned here in Vancouver

What a compliment, thank you! We are taught English throughout most of our schooling i Denmark. Also, i'm a student of english and communication at the University of Southern Denmark
Denmark banned Uber because of the "unfair" prices they were offering compared to the traditionel cap drivers. The unions are very strong here, so the politicians rarely dare to oppose them unfortunately.

Right on man. Gonna follow your feed for sure. Good to meet you.

Thanks! i really like your photoshopped photos. keep it up!
