One reason BTS has skyrocketed in the last couple of days is that it just started trading on a major Chinese exchange. There are other reasons as well - the hype around EOS (based on same tech as BTS and Steem). And the technology is superior to Ethereum and most if not all other cryptocurrencies. 3 second blocks, 1000s of transactions per second, and no transaction fees.
Interesting info about the Chinese exchange. Part of me was wondering if it had something to do with people signing up for OpenLedger account because of the new whaleshares thing on steemit. But I didn't think that would create enough volume. New Chinese exchange makes more sense. Thanks.
And I imagine it will be coming to other exchanges soon!

Ill say this...just 1 fact to get you thinking: bts is #2 behind btc in total txs processed. It is ahead of steem but both bts and steem are #2 and #3. BitShares and Steem each have more than BOTH Eths combined. And BTS is ahead of Steem.
I cant tell you everything but things are happening.
Oh and let me give u some whaleshares for use on steem. :)

In short: Bitshares and Steem are both better tech than ETH and also approx 3x more decentralized than bitcoin. ;)
