Uniswap - the death of centralized exchanges?
In case you didn't know, Uniswap is a decentralized exchange of cryptocurrencies on the ETH network
Recently it has airdropped for each address that has been engaged on it 400 UNI tokens
Now, to everybody surprise it has immediately been listed on all major centralized exchanges the like of Binance, Coinbase and Huobi...
This in itself is a crazy move by those actors because not only UNI did not need a listing, I mean you could trade it off just fine on Uniswap but also it is a direct competitor for the centralized exchanges
This showed once again that these major exchanges are all about the money, the fees and liquidity no matter where it comes from
Everybody seemed running to take the biggest share possible of liquidity to make a quick buck
Now after the blowing of the price to the likes of 8 USD Binance opened the UNI Futures...
Now ... in my opinion this was a move to destroy UNI and not to bring more liquidity to it because i believe that from the millions made in just a couple of days from the fees only one could just buy up the market and dump it on the Futures which is what happened right after the launch, the price went from 8$ to around 5$ now
Frankly I thought the price will drop back to 3$ but floating around the 5$ tells me what people wants and that is a project that doesn't dump on them and that is fairly distributed because imagine if this token would get listed on one of these major exchanges first, you know it would have dumped the hardest just like the previous projects before it
This has exposed, in my opinion, the criminal behaviors of these big players that we hold our money with and thanks God for Uniswap's team for this and having faith in the users that showed people love to hold on to a project that they consider can go far
This could mark the beginning of a major change in this market or the death of centralized exchanges all together...
