BITCOIN PRICE IN 2025: $150,000? Yes!!!!!! (But These Things Have to Happen)
Bitcoins current market cap is approximately 60B and represents around 48-49% of the market.
LA Token's research and estimate for the cryptocurrency market is that it will reach 5 trillion by 2025 (see source below)

So 2.5T (50% of 5T) divided by 60B is 41. So 41 X the current price of Bitcoin $3650 = $150,000
This assumes two (2) things:
- The cryptocurrency market hits 5T
- Bitcoin STILL represents around 48-50% of the market at that time.
When I began my cryptocurrency journey, I thought the people that boasted that Bitcoin could hit 5k, 10k, 50k were off their rocker. Now i'm a full believer. If projections are off and in 2025 we just hit 2.5T, then that would be a x20 multiple and a Bitcoin price of 75k per coin.
Will Apple's stock price be worth x20 times its current value in 2025? (I'll bet NO).
The real thing, that must happen is mass adoption.
And for that, there has to be done so much! The usability has to improve and the user interaction has to be more than juggling those 34 character alphanumeric addresses. DASH is on that and will create a new platform for better user experience. We shall see what the future brings.
One thing is clear, I'm here to stay and try to help improve the system!
Great points, 100% agree. Bitcoin is still misunderstood and it takes a while to get on your feet in the cryptocurrency world. It took me several months before I was able to figure things out. That sort of time would discourage the average joe.

I don't think bitcoin will still have 50% of the market by then. I still think ethereum will be bigger. Nice post makes me think the future will be great.

2025 is still a very long time away from 2017.. is it possible.. sure? .. but what does bitcoin have to offer all that time.. how does it stay relevant.. it has to fully become a crypto-gold instead of a currency.. there are so many new projects and coins being released ,, who knows there might be a bitcoin killer in there that is better and more convenient to use in everyday life. I'm sure there will be, that's why i think for bitcoin to reach such heights it really has to become a digital gold.. as it in some way already is.
Right! I think the cryptomarket exchanges and infrastructure is built around bitcoin right now. Will it be able to hold on to it's dominance in 2025? I'm leaning towards yes right now because all coins look towards it as sort of an index or moving average to follow. That might be hard to break. We'll see. Thanks for your thoughts!

I misunderstood Bitcoin's value before this year. I wish I got into crypto market sooner ha. Oh well. However we are at the ground floor for a lot of cool stuff entering the market. Happy coin hunting and thanks for the resteem!
