SALT Revisited...steemCreated with Sketch.

it keeps getting better!

The more I learn about this platform, the more interest I get in it. As an investor (used to be real estate mainly) I learned to work with taxes, deductions, etc. to improve and leverage my financial position. Anything that caused a taxable event rather than a safeguard from it was the most vital point. If you did (or had to) sell a property, you would use a like kind exchange where you did not receive cash, you just rolled it over into another like property. If you needed a quick infusion of cash... you used your Equity Line of Credit to make your purchase so you paid back principal and interest incurring more tax relief without causing the taxable event.

The Mantra is never cash out (as it causes a taxable event).

Now along comes the Cryptos with fantastic platforms like ETH where you purchase companies, VERI where you can become a Venture Capitalist, PPT where you can now purchase account receivables and Compound your Cryptos without purchase and sale or transfer of taxable currencies. Then came SALT, personal loans, business loans, auto loans... becoming your own lender but with all secured by blockchain collateral. Again we can compound and even leverage our Cyrpto's without ever transferring to cash for taxation.

The financial World is changing fast my friends, and all for the better with barter and trade as opposed to purchase and sale... how exciting is that!?

So I invested in SALT, not yet deployed with the understanding of the major impact this will make on society and people's lives.

I see VERI as a far more financially sophisticated tool (PPT as well for that matter) as you will need to be prudent on your lending to projects, businesses, etc as this is a tough business... SALT can have the same benefit, but more for the common man. With SALT they should be quicker turnarounds, more stable collateral and simple loan issues. That said I own PPT for the invoicing potential, VERI for the business and SALT for the masses.

As an example of the flexibility of SALT fora non business savvy individual, I received this survey for my preferences in the SALT lending platform:

SALT Lender Survey

Answers to the following questions will help shape the SALT Lending platform.

1. Would you like to be a lender on the SALT Platform?

  • More than $1,000,000

3. What APR would you expect on a bitcoin secured loan with an 80% loan to value ratio?

4. What APR would you expect on a bitcoin secured loan with an 60% loan to value ratio?

  • Write in %

This is amazing and I will use it to leverage my Crypto's as well as generate passive exponential income without taxable event.

This was written not as advise, not as financial planning, but as a roadmap I will be taking personally. Who knows maybe it will not benefit me as much, but my kids and grandchildren sure will be lucky.

Hell it may even persuade them to change my diapers when the time comes!

Hi............... Dear @kyusho
Good work.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!

Thanks for sharing didn't knew about salt lending

One of the most interesting and most important aspects about SALT is their ability to liquidate your collateral as payment. There's no income verification (which can be an issue with investors), there's only collateral and SALT tokens needed which is extremely beneficial in my book.

And let us not forget the non taxable event and residual income potential.

I used to own rental properties, both commercial and residential... the game was getting more and more stacked against the property owner, with bank, government and tenant control of many aspects. It was becoming far riskier than the tax write offs and passive income flow.

With SALT there will be another way to leverage real estate, develop passive income, change easily all gaining that cash flow, without taxation.

Once people start using it, there will be books as big in sales and popularity as the likes of Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

The leverage business re-invented.
