Will Bitcoin see another all time high soon?

Once again Bitcoin has gone over the $8K mark, but this is a pattern that has played out a lot over the last few months.
Most of those who saw the previous fluctuations over $8K may not be surprised if we see another drops to somewhere in the $5k range.
The question is - will Bitcoin reach $20K and beyond anytime soon? There seem to be a lot of big things happening in the world of cryptocurrency at the moment and that might bode well for Bitcoin. The recent jump has been significant and would be a good start for another run, but since we are still within the range of movement of the last few months it is not too important yet.
The answer may not become clear until Bitcoin moves far out of it's current range of movement - if it goes beyond $10k then things should become clearer.
This would be good news for alt coins too - if Bitcoin starts to see real movement then we will likely see increases in value across the whole market.
