Why It's Time You Considered 0x .
First let's start with a delicious pixel ice cream bar.!
Decentralized exchanges are the future .
Future incoming .
Kin Alpha (Alpha Kin Ebody?), ever heard of it? Radar Relay, no? Alright...
Ethfinex?!
Yes, it's the little sister of Bitfinex that isn't legal yet... I mean, it's still developing! But, damn does she look good. I swear I'm not a pervert.
0x Protocol, to put it simply,
Is a structure for people to build brand new exchanges that are both decentralized and have a ledger.
What does this mean for us and why do we care?
Well, with the recent regulations in China and the SEC in the United States creating a digital power ranger team to enforce cough-wallstreet-cough justice, it's pretty easy to determine that all of us bad guys are going to be very interested in decentralized exchanges. After all, isn't cryptocurrency supposed to be decentralized?
We aren't trying to outrun the law here, and neither is 0x!
We're just trying to control our wealth. We'll have to be smart without the kind of consumer protect that big companies provide, but in the event of an economic crash, we'll be safer.
Is there a market? Yes, and it's HUGE!
Notice how the volume of trading in China is nearing zero. They'll be looking for decentralized options. We all know the Chinese are genius at finding opportunity and I've spoken with my Chinese accomplices on QQ chat. Rest assured, they know about 0x.
But the chart looks all boring and stuff... Should I really buy?
Please make any purchase decisions yourself, but remember how all great coins have a sleeper period. There has been a recent rise in the past few days.
There are loads new of projects being developed on the 0x platform. I'm most excited about Ethfinex! I think it will be huge.
What's so great about a decentralized exchange on 0x and why would these tokens be worth anything in the future?
Well, Jimmy. The exchanges using 0x Protocol are called Relayers. Relayers will collect fees using 0x tokens. It will therefore be in the relayers best interest to hoard ZRX tokens as that will drive the price up. Now on the other side of the equation we have investors (like myself) who also hoard the tokens and drive the price up. Then we have the 0x platform users who are required to have ZRX to pay for fees.
But nobody likes fees. That's why ZRX is designed to scale down fees competitively to eventually be significantly lower than traditional centralized exchanges!
That's all for now. Good day sirs.
A way to build your own decentralized exchange, that is definitely something to keep my eye on! I just started using Bitfinex and I like it (despite it being a little hard to understand at first), so I'm very interested in the progress of Ethfinex.
