Blockchain is the new scientific revolution
Scientific revolution is considered to be a two-stage process of sweeping away the old and establishing the new. Today Blockchain is disrupting a numerous fields of economic activities and not only that. Blockchain is giving hope to many investors, it is attracting new bright minds into its projects, starting debates all over the planet, and giving enthusiasm to its admirers.
We have our world today as it is because of the revolution happened in the 17th century. Scientists started to think differently. They started to question things, to experiment, to observe. They adopted the philosophy of using an inductive approach to obtain knowledge — to abandon assumption and to attempt to observe with an open mind. Maybe some governments do not analyse Blockchain with open minds today, but many people do and thanks to them Blockchain will change the world.
Many of us don’t even comprehend the possibilities beyond these technologies. Some of us think that Blockchain is just Bitcoin, or that Blockchain is just some cryptocurrencies. It is not. Blockchain can contribute to almost every activity of our life. For example it can contribute to science and continue the scientific revolution which started some centuries ago. This decentralized framework is designed by ORVIUM, which wants to make the science revolution in the Blockchain. It is up to you to decide if they can do this or not. What I do here is to present to you an opportunity.
So what they want to do is basically to increase the scientific validity by empowering the scientists to share their studies and by making available research data. Also its journals will offer to the publishers a very low cost and effective maintenance for handling their publication and its categorizations.
You may think that science is only for scientists — persons with glasses and dressed in white. Well, with Orvium is not like that. It is meant to involve society and the general public by promoting patronage campaigns and other interesting strategies. By offering incentives, the research community is motivated to determine the value and soundness of a research. All of this is done on a transparent and public network!
The system will also help the researchers monetize their research. Beside that, it will help with the copyright and licenses. It will enable this content to be easy transferable between authors and will help them to better benefit from their work.
