Investing Life Savings Into Cryptocurrencies - One Year On

It's been almost exactly a year to the day since I first made the decision to invest all of my savings into a combination of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Thought it would be fun to reflect on that and some of the lessons I've learned from doing so in today's video.

DISCLAIMER: This is NOT financial advice. I am just offering my opinions. I am not responsible for any investment decisions that you choose to make.

LOL @ Trust Fund kid! People will come up with all kinds of crazy theories to justify their biases.

Great video again! I do agree with most points you make there.
For me, i started investing in April 2017 so we are not too far off ;).
I however chose to only invest 10% of what I have, as the most important rule for me is "invest what you can lose". This obviously goes with the point you make at the end of the video that it depends on what backups you have, can you move back in with your parents... Which for me is not possible. I really do like the perspective on investing in crypto's against investing in your own business!

Congrats on the gains that you'll have made too then Sherlock! Absolutely, it all comes down to personal risk tolerance and taking responsibility at the end of the day.

@louisthomas I find it refreshing that you have not contracted the "crypto lambo disease" that seems to be so rife in this space. So congratulations on your gains and keep making those videos. It would be interesting to know if crypto is treated any differently to other investments by the revenue in terms of capital gains.

Thank you! I look forward to learning a lot more about capital gains when I meet with the accountant :)

Man do I wish I went into crypto a year ago as well. Good on you for doing though, and hope you got some sick gains!

Appreciate it brother, thank you :)

You have made right decisions by investing in Bitcoin and ethereum this two digital currencies have the potential of great value in the future, this is a reliable investment instruments, thank you for sharing this video, so informative, worthy of resteemed and upvote.

Became a fan of your since I saw your videos on YouTube. Now, I'm glad that you're active on steemit too. Thank you for sharing your journey. In hindsight, I wish I invested before, but oh well. No point in regretting about it.

Cheers Clive!

I remember one of my questions was featured in one of your videos that was pretty awesome!

BTW! Do you know if Cedric Dahl is on other platform than YouTube? His video today was AMAZING!

Cheers man!! I will be completing 7 months in the crypto space in a couple of days. The journey has been great so far, with so many ups and downs, testing every bit of doubt that I had on myself.

Monetary profit is one thing but what it has taught me about money in general and the emotions of being in the market is on a different scale.
The normal stock market would have taken around 5 years to teach that.

Congratulations sir... You are doing great for the new investors like us...

I feel like we're the same person bro. I quit my shitty sales job and I'm about to move back in with my parents so that I can work part time and keep adding to my crypto portfolio, where most of my (small) net worth currently resides.

I went to university and studied the best minds of the past and present, but failed to learn technical skills that will help me build value in the world today. So I'd rather bet my money on those creating projects that I actually believe will change the world rather than starting my own business. I'm quite optimistic about the ability of future technologies to change our lives for the better. Open source will hopefully incentivize the majority to use this new technology for good.

Keep posting great content!

We are all happy to pay taxes aren´t we? :D

Hahaha of course. There's nothing I enjoy more!
