Why I'm Learning to Code in 2019 (& You Should Too)
The main new year's resolution that I've set myself this year is to learn to code. And to be more precise, I want to be able to create a dapp on Ethereum by the end of 2019.
I wanted to take the time in this video to explain why I'm doing this, and why you should consider doing so too.

Good move in my book and I think Ivan'e course is a great place to start especially if you are a newbie .
When learning to code it is important to master the base concepts and not just crash reams of "cut and paste" copied code. If you do this learning new languages will become easier.
The challenge of crypto coding is that there is a lot of material to assimilate and master.
The best way to crack coding is doing plenty of examples and just code. I would highly recommend Sentdex for python
https://pythonprogramming.net/
and Jimmy Song's medium articles for BTC related stuff.
Wishing you all the best with the coding adventure.
Right now I'm picking up Java and building upp a little faucet app as a personal test with a few beta testers. My goal is to start developing video games for android
I have thought about it in the past and I am first taking steps to be able to have the time to dedicate to do so but I think investing un oneself to learn these types of skillsets will be great in the future.

It will. I used to struggle with only having a GitHub account, but no documentation. I use GitHub pages (Jekyll) to document my code and link to the actual projects. You can use Wiki as well (also on GitHub). Just use MarkDown apart from HTML if you want to make a website just to document your code. Employers may ignore your projects unless you provide them with an actual documentation that explains in plain English what is special in them. I only started running a blog a couple of days ago when I realized that there was no time to talk about the actual designs during a job interview. (It will probably take hours just to read thru documentation of the contributions I've made, but one can flip thru it and just look at code snippets and buzz words).
I'm focusing on JavaScript. Good luck I hope you make some progress with Ethereum. That blockchain is definitely going places.
I admire your ambitions! I remember studying coding for a unit in college which was actually quite interesting but I never pursued it any further. I don't have a general interest but something as niche as developing a dapp does interest me. Looking forward to see how you go with it.
I think the average salary of blockchain engineers is closer to $150,000.
Louis coin??? coming soon??? Happy 2019 whatever you decide to do.
I like SQL as it's very easy to learn!
In this generation we need to be technologically inclined for us to be relevant in this fast changing world of blockchain technology , I wish you the best in your mission let see the dApp you will be able to integrate into the ethereum blockchain platform this year @louisthomas
