Bitcoin Price Eyes $4,000 as Combined Market Tops $135 Billion
The crypto markets continued to climb on Tuesday, with the vast majority  of top 100 cryptocurrencies posting moderate gains. The bitcoin price  rose to within striking distance of $4,000, while the Ethereum price  edged past $290 to continue its march toward $300. NXC, the holding company of Nexon, the $10 billion Japanese gaming  company founded by South Korean entrepreneur Kim Jung Ju in 1994, has  acquired Korbit, the second largest cryptocurrency exchange in South  Korea and the first bitcoin exchange in the country, at a $150 million  valuation. >>Source

Litecoin and Vertcoin Successfully Tests Atomic Swapping
The developers of Litecoin (LTC) and Vertcoin (VTC) have  announced that they have successfully tested their upcoming atomic swap  feature in what is considered a landmark moment for both coins.
The Atomic swap feature between Litecoin and Vertcoin has been in  development for a number of months and it looks like all of that hard  work has finally paid off as Litecoin developer Charlie Lee took to  Twitter last night to reveal that he had successfully swapped 1 Litecoin  for 55 Vertcoins through the block chain. >>Source
