I got out of BTC after the fork with zero regrets. I keep telling my friend I got into BTC to trade to any number of more promising coins like ETH, LTC, NEO, BCH, ect. Call me a fudder but I won't like BTC until it corrects the speed issues. The cost to make a small transaction for goods and services can often also be too high.

Then again some of the most popular brands in the world are gold plated shit and no seems to care. People just keep buying the stuff because they saw it enough times to feel confident it's worth the price and fits their perceived need(s).
