Crypto New Zealand Trade Signals
From November 2017 we at Crypto NZ will be posting short term buy/sell trade signals.
Before I go on, please be aware that these are not calls for long term investment. They are purely for people who wish to turn a quick profit by buying and selling coins over the space of minutes to hours. Once a signal comes through you will need to act on them ASAP, ideally within 20 minutes.
Because Facebook doesn't have the best notification settings it really is not the greatest medium for submitting trade signals. As such, one of our admins has created a Telegram channel purely for this purpose. If you haven't used Telegram before it is very user friendly and can easily be installed on any device. It will allow us to broadcast trade signals to you much faster and simpler than through Facebook. You can join us by clicking here.
Each trade call will contain 4 pieces of information:
- The name of the coin
- The price you should aim to buy that coin below (in satoshis)
- The price you should aim to sell that coin above (in satoshis)
- Your stop loss price (see below)
The exchange these trade signals will be based on is Bittrex, so I recommend you sign up for an account there if you don't have one already. We will always use Bitcoin to buy our chosen altcoins (eg. XVG/BTC), therefore prices will be shown in satoshis as this is what you will find on the exchange.
For those of you who don't know what a stop loss is, it is essentially an automatic sell order if the price of the coin drops below a pre-defined figure of your choosing. It is used to prevent excessive losses if the trade signal does not go to plan and the price drops too much. If you don't know how to set a stop loss, follow the video here:
Where do our trade signals come from? One of my good friends lives in Japan (he is a Kiwi) and day trades crypto full time. This guy has his feelers to the ground over there and plenty of crypto contacts in Singapore, Korea and Australia. This includes contact with some large scale mining groups and crypto whales. There have been countless times where he has sent me through buy signals about coins which look ready to rise due to upcoming news or change in fundamentals and I've managed to get in before the market reacts.
Before you ask, yes he is in touch with Pump & Dump whale groups, however I have specifically asked him not to provide us with P&D signals as I personally detest this sort of artificial market manipulation. There are plenty of free P&D groups out there if that is what you're interested in. Those groups put out dozens of calls a day and more often than not they are completely made up. My goal for this group is only to provide high quality trade signals so that we can all profit!
We'll aim to post the trade signals during daylight hours in NZ, however this will limit the number of calls we can put out simply because our contact lives in Japan. I don't want to wake you up at 4am with a trade call! If all is going well, we'll be able to put out one trade signal a day, hopefully more.
Above all, please be aware that trading crypto is incredibly high risk. Never commit more than 5% of your portfolio to any one signal and always do your own research. Our contact in Japan is not a registered investment advisor, nor are we. If the market doesn't look right to you or it has been too long since the signal was posted, don't try and do the trade. Cheers!
