A couple of days ago, Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum founder and brilliant guy, tweeted a warning message for everyone out there about the possibility of cryptocurrencies tanking as low as it is possible.

While this might be portrayed as a red flag for the crypto apocalypse, what Buterin is warning us about is nothing new. Cryptocurrencies have always been extremely volatile and it would not be impossible for them to get close to zero from one moment to another. Is this a likely scenario? not really, but it is still a possibility that every crypto investor should keep in mind and be prepared for.

For the same reason it is crucial for your financial health to never place all of your money in here. Even if you are totally convinced that this is the future, it is almost certain that there are more and probably worse dips to come. Make sure that you have enough liquidity to go through them or even profit from them and never invest money that you may need shortly.

The crypto road has barely started. It is going to be a long and rough journey, but extremely rewarding on the long run. Be prepared.
