Today In Crypto - September 27, 2017

Today has been a hugely exciting day for cryptocurrencies across the board! I'm brand new here so please bear with me this first day as it's already quite late - I'll be back with more analysis and coins tomorrow. Please follow to stay up to date!

BTC

After living in the flatline charts for almost 2 weeks now, jumping back and forth between the $3600 support and $3800 ceiling, I woke up this morning to some glorious green candles around 6AM EST. It looked like at first that these bullish moves were only going to hold for a few hours this morning but as of almost 10PM EST tonight, the numbers are still up above $4150 steadily for Bitcoin.

It seems that more resistance has actually been shown over these past few hours for the $4200 level instead of the $4100 level like most people predicted. I am a little cautious to encourage any buys as this point because I do expect to see some kind of pullback going into Friday if it does not happen tomorrow. Of course, I could be completely wrong, but there usually is rarely a $300-400 increase in one day without any type of major pullback before slingshotting higher. Keep in mind that the next major resistance level that many large traders and analysts are talking about sits around the $4400 mark. If the candles can hold above $4100 for another day or two, it may be a sign that the bull market is finally back and it is time to secure a position for the ride. If you missed the previous two week dip, don't go chasing the green candles - wait until there is a little bit of a dip again before you go throwing your money at this price increase.

LTC

Litecoin has seen some interesting trends today, including breaking free of the Bitcoin path it has been following a little bit throughout the day (though still ultimately following in its tracks). There is not much to say about Litecoin here outside of the realm of Bitcoin, other than to keep an eye on the $59 threshold - Litecoin has been gaining some popularity back in the world of crypto because of the recent Atomic Swap and other press that the coin has been generating. There have been quite a few stories of users actually changing over some of their long term holds into LTC. I am a huge advocate for holding Litecoin long term as I think we could see it rebound up to the $90-100 range before 2017 comes to a close.

In the future, I plan on including some more detailed analysis and of course other coins as well! Unfortunately it is already late here and has been a long day of watching the market. Be sure to follow so that when I post these updates daily, you won't miss anything! I look forward to reading your comments and returning tomorrow!

What coins are you looking at right now? We are at the halfway point in the week with plenty of time for more action before the usual weekend slowdown so there is still plenty of time for all coins to make more big moves! Are you expecting a pullback later this week?
