Six Celebrities that Probably Hold Crypto
They could be whales or they could be bagholders.
But at the end of the day, they are holders of crypto, just like you and me. Here are six celebrities that probably hold crypto in their portfolio.
Paris Hilton
Owns: Ethereum Classic
Paris Hilton might be the most unlikely person one would think to be a holder of crypto. But slock.it and failed The DAO founder and COO, Stephan Tual posted a picture on Instagram of him and Coinbase's CEO Brain Armstrong sitting at a table with Paris Hilton. Tual undoubtedly shilled her into buying DAO tokens all night and to get him to shut up, Hilton gave in. Fast forward today and she is probably one of the biggest holders of Ethereum Classic.
Dennis Rodman
Owns: PotCoin
The Worm himself has recently taken crypto into a whole different level of craziness recently with news of him and PotCoin partnering up. Two days ago, news broke that the cannabis coin has sponsored Rodman's trip to North Korea.
Pitbull
Owns: Bitcoin
For some reason, CNBC interviewed rapper Pitbull last week and was asked what his biggest money mistake was. Pitbull said that he had his eye on bitcoin five years ago, but didn’t buy in. Five years ago, one bitcoin cost about $7 and is now trading currently at around $2500. Pitbull FOMO'd hard and finally bought in at the all time high of $3000.
Mark Cuban
Owns: Bitcoin
Mark Cuban recently tweeted his doubts about Bitcoin and that he he bought $20 worth and it made news for some reason.
Stephan Bonnar
Owns: The Legends Room Token
The Legends Room is a strip club located just off the Las Vegas Strip where the main room is open to the public while the private room requires ownership of LGD digital tokens. The club is founded and operated by a former UFC manager who has teamed up with UFC's Hall of Famer, Stephan Bonner to promote the project.
Matt Barkley
Owns: Ether
49er's quarterback Matt Barkley is probably the biggest winner on this list. He has tweeted that he is an holder of ETH and still tweets when Ether is in the middle of a bull run despite probably already being a millionaire. Looking at this Twitter account he seems to be a bit of a tech nerd. Good luck to him and the 49ers this season.
Poor Pitbull, he's even worse at trading than I am...
I guess CNBC was having a slow news day that day. The more the better I say. Why aren't more rappers into crypto?
