Huobi Wallet Adds EOS and TRX. More Coins Coming Soon?

Along with a slew of products and services like Huobi OTC and Huobi Cloud to name a few, Huobi also launched their own crypto wallet named Huobi Wallet. And recently, they’ve added support for EOS and TRON (TRX). Could we see support being implement for more projects in the future? Read on to find out.

But first, what exactly is Huobi Wallet?

According to Huobi Global, Huobi Wallet is designed to facilitate fast, efficient, and secure management of various digital assets.
Security is a big aspect of Huobi Wallet and it’s something that’s taken very seriously by Huobi Global. This is evinced in the fact that Huobi Wallet allows users to retain control of their private keys and thus full ownership of their digital assets. Moreover, Huobi Wallet leverages multiple blockchain security related patents, including patents for security isolation and data encryption, to provide state-of-the-art protection for digital assets.

The addition of coins like EOS and TRON are just the first few of several upgrades planned for Huobi Wallet. According to Huobi Group Vice President Livio Weng, “Going forward, the community can expect to see more currencies added at an accelerated rate. We also plan on establishing additional partnerships with a range of decentralized apps (Dapps) developers, giving our users greater access to an expanded range of products and services.”

What this hints at is the fact that Huobi Wallet will in the future introduce and extend support to several other projects. I believe these technological improvements will only only give a big boost to security in the space but help spur adoption and create a better future for cryptocurrencies.

Huobi Wallet Has Come A Long Way

Apart from the latest additions of TRX and EOS, Huobi Wallet supports Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), Tether (USDT) and all ERC20 tokens. The newest additions are only an sign of big progress as EOS and TRX have their own native chains. I believe is also a sign of bigger and better things to come in the future.

Additionally, in October of this year, Huobi wallet became the first wallet to expand support to cover seven stablecoins including, Paxos Standard Token (PAX), TrueUSD (TUSD), USD Coin (USDC), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), Dai (DAI), Stasis EURS (EURS), and Tether (USDT).

What Can We Expect In The Future And What I’m Personally Looking Forward To

As I’ve stated earlier, I believe Huobi Wallet has a lot more to offer to customers in the future. I also believe EOS and TRX are just the first in a series of new coins to be added. I’m personally looking forward to support for blockchains like NEO, ADA and XLM. I believe that the more coins and platforms are added, the more adoption we will see and a more holistic and positive future will be created.
