Overview: NEM (XEM) is the first cryptocurrency to focus on Smart Asset blockchain. The platform was designed and built for management of almost any enterprise asset: supply chains, currencies, notarizations, records, and much more. The Smart Asset platform can be fully customized and can be easily integrated within existing business infrastructure platforms, mobile apps, etc. This allows blockchain development to be much easier, as the API interface can be utilized in any code programming rather than relying on the more traditional “smart contract” language. NEM’s platform is very secure, thanks to its deployment of Eigentrust++ and an upgraded two-tier architecture.
