Star Cards: Verifiably unique celebrity collectibles

Star Cards are verifiably unique celebrity collectibles that live on the Ethereum blockchain. Think of them as unique, digital trading cards that only one, single person can own. We've amassed a huge collection of celebrities from all throughout history and every facet of entertainment and stardom imaginable. From George Washington to Satoshi Nakamoto to Sasha Grey, no two cards are alike!

I'm sure many are already familiar with this concept, given the popularity of similar projects such CryptoKitties, Etherbots, etc. Similarly, Star Cards exist as non-fungible tokens, which implement the basic principles and functionality of the ERC-721 standard. They can easily be stored on any Ethereum wallet and interfaced with easily with Metamask (or whatever your preferred method may be).

However, unlike many other popular projects the supply of Star Cards is strictly fixed to 586,155 cards. None can be created. None can be destroyed (though there's nothing to prevent a card owner from sending a celebrity to an early or fitting grave by transferring them to the null address). This is made easily verifiable to the end user by means of a public dataset (available for download on the Star Cards homepage which seeds the generation of each new edition of cards. The MD5 and SHA256 hash of this dataset is made public in the contract source code, so you can be sure that the card that you own is consistent with your collection.
