Fair enough. Makes sense.
That's how the real physical world is.
Cryptocurrencies seem to be changing that age old equation. At least they promise to do so from whatever I have been able to gather until now.
Left, right and center there is a new cryptocurrency and many of these are structured in a way that you can get more of them either through no work or very minimal work.
For example, Mannabase doesn't require any work on your part. They just pop up in your wallet every week!
There are a number of coins which gives you interest in coins for just holding them.
There's this SEED token which will pay you to play a Farmville like game with SEED as the in-game currency convertible to real-world money.
Man, they will even pay you to watch porn. That's what Vice token is promising.
What a career you can build watching porn, think of it.
A crypto powered wedding
Here is a future crypto powered pre-wedding conversation in a not so distant future.

When the girl's father asks you before your marriage, "Now that you are marrying my daughter, what do you do young man?"
"I watch porn for a living, sir. Your daughter will be very happy with me."
If this conversation is taking place, say 40 years from now, the response may well be something like this.
"That's an honorable business. I earned a living and educated my children by watching porn. Proud to call you my son-in-law."
Wow, what a future!
It really is, isn't it? Not absolutely free. You still have to play a game or watch porn or write an article.
But man, what in the physical world will pay you for doing nothing?
Nothing.
