John McAfee Introducing A Privacy Token
John McAfee is a wild card in all he gets involved in. The crypto bull is known for making outrageous claims while promoting the living daylights out if cryptocurrency.
He is presently running for President, albeit while a fugitive from the IRS.
Late last year, he announced that he was creating a decentralized exchange as a foundation for cryptocurrency. McAfee feels that government is the enemy of the people, thus it is their right to do things outside the scope of those entities.
He is known to indulge in conspiracy theories which, over time, tend to not look so far-fetched. Last year he started a token called "WHACKED" in reference to Jeffrey Epstein not killing himself.
Now, McAfee announced that he is going to create a privacy token on his DEX. The token is called GHOST.
On April 11, McAfee tweeted that Ghost will be underpinned by a Proof-of-Stake algorithm, and will be tradable against leading cryptocurrencies via atomic swaps on the McAfeeDex decentralized exchange.
Blockchain offer transparency which can be of benefit. However, it does make surveillance very easy. McAfee long maintained that it allowed everyone to know where your money is going. In this era where we are monitored everywhere we go online, this just takes it to another level.
Privacy coins alter this. Since they are not able to see openly seen, the transactions just "vanish". Of course, governments automatically assume people are using them for illegal purposes.
“With a DEX/privacy coin combo we now have full control of our finances!” he said.
