The Little Blockchain that Could Part 2: Decentralized 24-hour Cryptonews ChannelsteemCreated with Sketch.

I got this idea from @ericwilson and I will post a link to his article in the comments sections. Could we create a 24-hour Cryptonews Channel? If cryptocurrency news isn't your thing then let me ask a different question, could we create decentralized streaming channels? Anybody who has watched streaming on Twitch knows that streamers can't stream forever. The world record for the longest stream was a 136-hour live-stream of World of Warcraft.

What we could do is create a channel and issue coins called stream coins or Cryptonews Network coins (CNN), or zombie coins--whatever you want. Time spent broadcasting would be the equivalent of mining. Coins could be distributed based on total time spent streaming and popularity of the streamer based on views and likes. If you wanted to monetize the stream then you could sell ad-time on your stream and ad-time could be bought with the coins which would give you a way to cash out and it would give outsiders a reason to buy in. Please leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I would like to see the capability to create channels on dtube.... Then we could "program" the videos so they play continuously. I know i would love to tune in in the morning with my coffee to hear what has happened whil i was asleep.

That would work too. The channel could be 24 hours with pre-programmed content. The key now would be to find 24 hours worth of content to post every day. I think it being decentralized would help as no one person would have to come up with all of the content.

Exactly. You would almost need a channel manager to load stuff.... without them being too old. Maybe get people to have a set hour they stream with updated crypto numbers and different cyrptos to watch or that are on the move.
