COINBASE CEO Announces that RIPPLE (XRP) rumors are false. I THINK NOT

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Coinbase CEO, Brian Armstrong, denies that Ripple (XRP) is getting added to Coinbase. I believe that is comment was made to get the public eye off of this "rumor" until XRP ACTUALLY gets added.

Why will XRP be added?

  • The Coinbase team denied allowing purchases of BCH up until the second BCH was added to Coinbase. Why is it different this time when they are denying adding XRP?

  • Brian Armstrong stated that they are looking into adding new alt-coins to the platform.

  • 450,000,000 XRP were purchased a few weeks ago around $1.50, it could have been Coinbase

  • Unnamed source with confirmation that XRP will be added very soon.

Long term hodler of the so - called centralized coin. Regardless if it goes to coinbase the work with western union, money gram, and soon coinsquare will turn into another amazing uptrend. Coinbase needs XRP more than XRP needs coinbase.

I have several hundred Ripple XRP coins. Centralized or not, its a technology that banks can benefit from and Companies are jumping on board. Coinbase would be nice, it would only boost the price. But it’s certainly not needed. It would be nice to have a much easier way to purchase though.

Blockchain used in the real world can help everyone wether it is decentralized or not. Hodl your bag because I am told that it will be on CB by the end of the month!

If CB can keep the price down right now, it will be less that they have to pay out once it gets added to the platform.
