DO NOT SELL YOUR MINING RIG YET! A criptocurrency with new algorithm has been launched!

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Signatum is a both CPU & GPU mineable coin which uses a brand new algorithm called SkunkHash Raptor (based on four different algorithms: Skein, Cubehash, Fugue, GOST-Streebog and Raptor.

The reward structure looks like this: Blocks 0-30,000: 2500 Coins, Blocks 30,001-60,000: 1250 Coins, Blocks 60,001-100,000: 625 Coins. As of today 28.07.2017 the current blockheight is 8813, so it is still abundantly mineable with decent GPUs.

Signatum(SIGT) is also now live on Cryptopia. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=SIGT_BTC

General information of the coin:

Total PoW Coins: 137,500,000
PoW/PoS after block 98500
Last PoW Block: 100,000
Pure PoS after block 100,000
PoS 5% Annual Interest

For more information and how to mine the coin I'd recommend the following sites:

So jump up on the bandwagon and start mining asap, to gain rewards as much as possible.

When I saw the thumb mark logo, my impression was it has something to do with digital identity verification.
I was expecting this to be in the whitepaper and roadmap.

Yes, I'm still waiting for the dev. team to share the roadmap, but based on rumors in the bitcointalk thread, somebady has mentioned that fingerprint identification might be involved with this coin.

Great if they pursue this direction, digital identity verification has a lot of use cases.
