Damn those Pesky Russians!

I'm sure i don't need to tell most of you to stay the hell away from the website cyptonator.com as I'm sure you are all pretty savvy when it comes to what to avoid. However I had been using Cryptonator for sometime without any issues so I assumed it was all safe and legit. I mean look up any business or company and somewhere on Google there will be people calling it a scam no matter how legit they are so I assumed this was the case with Cryptonator.

Shoddy 2factor Authentication

For quite some time now I have been unable to make any withdrawal due to their 2-factor authentication. I can access the site as I can confirm the code they email me, the issue comes when they send the second code to my mobile phone. This used to work flawlessly but now all of a sudden the code never comes through and I don't get any further with trying to withdraw. I can login to the website so I had hoped I may be able to disable two factor auth however to disable this you need to submit a code they send to your mobile phone which obviously I also do not receive.

Support? What support!

I've been on at their support for the best part of 3 weeks but I'm still yet to get a single reply. I have sent a total of 5 support requests now in the hope that maybe just one of them might get an answer but to this day, nothing.

Always do proper research from the start

Since this experience I went on to do some research on Cryptonator (which I arguably should have done right at the beginning. I noticed a lot of scam related results in Google from when they first launched but then it appears things started to work out and most people had no issues with them. However the problems start to arise around November/December 2017 where there is a huge influx of people reporting the site as a scam with most people complaining of very similar issues all centered around making withdrawals or deposits that just never appear in the wallet.

What went wrong?

I don't know if they set out to scam people from the beginning as they were pretty good in my experience for quite a long time, however it seems that there was an increasing number of issues and complaints which they responded to initially but now they do not reply at all and seem to have just given up caring.

What really pisses me off

What makes me so angry is that its clear they have decided to shutdown support and do not answer anybody anymore but they continue to let the site run as it always did. Meaning that people are still making deposits into their website/wallet not knowing that this is probably the last time they will ever see their cryptocurrency. Please Cryptonator do the right thing and either fix this or just shut the damn website down and stop allowing this greedy scam to continue. It's arseholes like this that give the community a bad name and just more ammunition for the Governments, Banks and media to pick holes and faults in Cryptocurrency.
