Kodak is Planning to Launch Its Own Cryptocurrency

Kodak unveiled their plan to launch its own photo-centric cryptocurrency which will empower photographers and agencies to take greater control in image copyright management. The US technology firm plans to host an initial coin offering (ICO) by the end of January.

Utilizing blockchain technology similar to bitcoin, the Kodak platform will create an encrypted archive of the photographer's work which they can license within the platform. Furthermore, amateurs and professional photographers alike will be able to sell their work on the platform.

The initial coin offering will open on January 31, 2018 and is open to accredited investors from the U.S., UK, Canada and other select countries. For more information visit www.kodakcoin.com.
