MycroJobs: A simple solution to a not so simple problem.

If you've ever tried to hire professionals to help you with completing small errands you know how hard it is as there's no service that properly connects the customer and the professionals.

Enter Mycro

A simple jobs platform powered by the ethereum blockchain which enables users to hire professionals through the platform faster and easier when compared to conventional ways.

MycroJobs GMBH was founded by André Bruckmann and Christian Hampe. Mycro's main aim is to bridge the gap between the customer and the professionals in a way that both parties involved are in full contol through decntralization.

How Does The System Work?

The system is fairly simple and what it does is basically act as the intermediary between those who want to hire and those who wish to work.
The customer who wants to hire a professional simply posts a job application on the app and the mycro protocol(which is the underlying magic) matches the job provider with many suitable jobbers.

The job provider can then choose a suitable professional that he wants to hire. An escrow smart contract holds the money. After a job's completition both parties rate each other. The money then gets released from the smart contract and distributes it to all parties involved. Mycro has a reward pool that nudges people to actually rate each other. The system is desiged to be completely trustless and free from third party control.

The ratings are stored as IFPS data connected to the persons Ethereum address, That's a game changing mechanism.

It allows for true ownership of your ratings. For the first time it is not a platform that owns the data of your past job performance, but yourself. This comes with massive positive implications as you can seamlessly migrate your past track record to another platform at any time, given it operates on the Mycro protocol.

It is not an uncommon problem that people feel the need to stay on a platfom on which they built reputation, despite having a more favourable outlook on another platform while others have their accounts banned that they built for years.

Now you guys might be wondering how the MYO token fits into the ecosystem. MYO is a ERC-20 utility token that users can use to transact in the Mycro-ecosystem, users can pay/get paid in MYO and token usage will be incentivized by the platform. The larger the stake, the greater the perks.

Mycro unlike most other failed platforms doesn't restrict payments to be only made in the MYO token. Traditonal payment methods like Cash can be used...
Now this might sound like a buzzkill but it's not, It's the exact opposite.
By allowing people to use traditional means of payment the Mycro platform is more normie/nocoiner friendly, thus increasing customer base and this in turn will help speading up mass-adoption of the app. Like a supercharged Fiverr version on steroids with sprinkles.

Paying with MYO offers security via escrow, the ability to build your reputation on the Mycro Protocol and participation in the reward pool which should amount to enough incentivation for "normal" people transact in MYO rather than cash. This would create more demand for the MYO.

What Kind of Services Can You Hire With Mycro?

Job categories are divided into 4 and they are:

1. Home services: This includes gardening, Cleaning, Small repairs etc.
2. Delivery services: This includesjobs like helping with moving, Small errands, Carpooling services and driving.
3. Skilled services: Photography, Babysitting, Music lessons etc.
4. Virtual Services: Internet research, Travel planning, Assistant work, Online surveys etc.

Long Term Sustainability

The problem with most of the Dapps that we have now is that the people who develop is are only looking at what works best for the short term and this narrow minded attitude is why there is no Dapp that is ready for mass-adoption. The people who build those dapps don't work on setting up ways with which they can get a proper inflow of income which can keep the platform floating andd help with it's development.

The Mycro team has plans for long term sustainablity. Mycro aims for raising 0-5% fees to cover their expenses, which beats most other platforms by a lot. Having a smart-contract handle most of the administrative work obviously allows for lower operational cost compared to systems with human input. I reckon that everyone in the gig-economy would be interested in a platform that is a game changer of this magnitude.

How do I buy tokens?

Should I buy tokens?

To me it's a safe bet that MYO will easily be trading over IEO prices, looking at the idea, team, tokenomics, IEO hosting exchange and the general market sentiment. Probably well worth it to make a quick buck in the IEO and to hold MYO for the likely case it gets a lot of adoption.
